The Paddel Buch project collects information from contributors and combines this with information from public sources such as OpenStreetMap to produce the website and the Paddel Buch database.
The contents of this database are available for reuse by anyone, for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. The licensing terms for accessing and reusing the contents of the database via our API are described below.
Database License
As our database contains data duplicated from OpenStreetMap, our overall database is made available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0, in accordance with OpenStreetMap’s licensing terms.
The ODbL permits specific items in the database to be licensed under additional terms, which Paddel Buch uses to license our own non-OpenStreetMap derived data.
Data Licenses
Data derived from OpenStreetMap is also licensed under the Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0, in accordance with OpenStreetMap’s licensing terms.
Data which Paddel Buch has collected from contributors is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC-BY-SA-4.0) license, which permits this data to be reused for both non-commercial and commercial purposes. The data collected by Paddel Buch primarily comprises:

For clarity, each item in the Paddel Buch database identifies which data license it’s covered by via the "dataLicenseType" field.
